## Purpose of study

A broad and balanced curriculum should focus on developing physical competence, confidence, and a love for physical activity and sport, emphasising the importance of fostering healthy, active lifestyles.  A high-quality curriculum inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sports and other physically demanding activities.
