# STEP Planning Sheet

STEP in PE is a framework that stands for Space, Task, Equipment, and People, enabling activities to be adapted for different needs and abilities.  STEP can be used by teachers when planning PE lessons or by young leaders to help them run activities for their peers.

Why not try out this STEP planning sheet with your class?

- **Space** - Modify the size or shape of the playing area.
- **Task** - Change the objective or rules of the game.
- **Equipment** - Introduce or modify the equipment used in the game.
- **People** - Change the roles or number of players involved.
