Welcome to The PE Hub

What happens when you register for The PE Hub?

Thank you for the opportunity to rewrite the text. Here’s my revised version:

We’re excited to welcome you to the PE Hub community! When you become a member, we want you to get started as smoothly and quickly as possible. After you register for an account, we’ll review and authorise your registration. Once authorised, you can start using your account right away.

Why it’s easy to use The PE Hub lesson plans

All our lesson plans follow the same format with assessment for learning tasks at the start of a new unit, structured layout, literacy and numeracy links, and resources.  Every lesson has;

  1. A starter activity
  2. Teaching Points
  3. Skill Development
  4. Key Questions

We are continuously uploading new and engaging content to our platform. This includes new lessons, illustrations and other teaching resources. Finding the exact lesson plan you need has never been more accessible as users can now filter plans by year groups or activities to narrow their search and access content instantly. Additionally, you can easily navigate to other lessons within the unit via the drop-down menu, and all content is printable for your convenience.

What does The PE Hub assessment look like?

We have assessment that covers all our units from Reception through to Year 6, and it is super easy and quick to use.  Our PE assessment is formative, so you can see pupils’ progress, from where they were at the start and end of the unit.  Our flood fill tool means in seconds, you can give all pupils a judgment, then select individual pupils that need amending.  We have 4 levels to make your judgement: Not achieved, working towards, achieved and exceeding – if your school uses different terminology, this is no problem. You can edit the names to meet your school’s requirements.  If you need to export your results, you can do this with the export to Excel feature.

Curriculum Plan for PE

Our Curriculum Maps feature has been upgraded to provide more flexibility to platform users. With the new upgrade, you can now create multiple curriculum maps. This means you can create new maps for each academic group or develop maps for extra-curricular activities. This enhanced feature lets you easily map your school’s PE journey with greater customisation and organisation.

Does The PE Hub offer training?

We are often asked if we offer training to help teachers get started with the website.  We don’t offer training because there is no need, we have designed The PE Hub to be as easy to use as possible. When you register for an account with us, we send a starter kit that includes a PowerPoint presentation that you can share with your staff before starting to teach. Below we have included a video of our PowerPoint which covers a whistle-stop tour of the site!
