Badminton Forehand & Backhand Returns

One of our featured resources is a video guide that teaches pupils how to practice forehand and backhand returns. This engaging visual tool demonstrates the techniques of moving around the court and returning to the centre to be able to then play again either forehand or backhand.

Mastering Forehand and Backhand

Being able to return the shuttle both with the forehand and the backhand is a key skill in badminton. Pupils should develop the ability to move around the court and recognise which shot is required. This video shows a series of plays which allow the receiving player to practice returning on both sides of their body.
