The upper body weave is a dodging technique used to avoid incoming throws by quickly moving the upper body side to side.

Upper Body Weave Teaching Points


Stance: Feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, hands up and ready.
Eyes: Stay focused on the thrower and track the ball closely.
Movement: Shift the upper body swiftly left or right without moving the feet too much.
Balance: Keep your weight centered to stay controlled during movement.
Reset: Return quickly to ready position after each dodge.
