Volleyball - 3 Contacts

Three contacts in volleyball refers to the sequence of up to three touches a team is allowed before sending the ball over the net.

Volleyball three contacts sequence:

  1. Pass (First Contact): Receiving the ball to control it after a serve or attack.
  2. Set (Second Contact): Precisely positioning the ball for an attacker.
  3. Attack (Third Contact): Delivering a throw or hit over the net to score or challenge the opposing team.
