Outdoor and adventurous activities help pupils develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. This Scavenger Hunt activity from our Year 1 OAA unit provides a simple and engaging way for pupils to work cooperatively while exploring their surroundings and completing challenges together.
Set Up:
Place a range of PE equipment (e.g. beanbags, footballs, bibs, hoops) around the playing area. Items should be visible but spread out. Provide each pair with a scavenger hunt sheet and pencil.
How to Play:
Pupils move around the area to spot and tick off the items on their list. Once all items are found, they return to the start point to show their completed sheet.
