As many rounds as possible - Balance focus

In the time given, complete as many rounds as possible of the following:

KS 1 – 1 round = 

  • 5 second tiptoe hold
  • 5 Second heel balance
  • 5 second abdominal hold
  • 10 high knees

Time limit 2 minutes

KS 2 – 1 round = 

  • 10 second tiptoe hold
  • 10 Second heel balance
  • 10 second abdominal hold
  • 10 high knees

Time limit 2 – 3 minutes

Rest for 90 seconds and repeat!

Supporting ideas

  • Give the children some marbles or markers, each time they complete a round they move a marker so they know how many rounds they have done at the end.
  • Record the score from the first attempt, can they beat it the second time around?
  • You know your children; extend or reduce the amount of time for working and resting as you see fit, we have provided a guide.
