Bench bunny hop involves jumping with both feet together, with the hands momentarily supporting weight on the bench while moving feet over the bench. It is a stepping stone to skill such as cartwheels and vaulting.
- Hands should be flat on or gripping the bench ready to take weight.
- Both feet on one side of the bench
- Push off the floor with both feet, jumping feet over the bench
- As the feet touch down reach forwards and place hands slightly further up the bench and repeat
- Tuck the knees slightly and bring the feet together to land softly
