Beginners Swimming Lesson 2

Intermediate Swimming Lesson 4

  • Develop confidence performing tuck floats and changing shapes in the water
  • Use correct body position to perform a controlled surface dive
  • (Some) Explore moving underwater safely to retrieve objects or reach the pool floor

KS1 Wellbeing Lesson 1

  • Connect – Work with a partner by communicating clearly to complete tasks together

KS2 Wellbeing Lesson 1

Year 1 Attack Defend Shoot Unit 2 Lesson 3

  • To develop control when bouncing and passing a ball
  • To work with a partner to move towards a target
  • To understand how to defend by intercepting or blocking passes

Year 2 Dance Unit 1 Lesson 2

  • Accurately use basic actions to move as a polar bear
  • Demonstrate a polar bear phrase responding to the music and using mean and angry facial expressions
  • Tell a partner if they used mean/angry expressions and if they remembered the polar bear phrase accurately

Year 3 Basketball Lesson 4

  • Use a two-handed technique to perform a basketball shot
  • To apply passing, dribbling and shooting skills in a game
  • Assist teammates in a game to shoot

Year 3 Netball Lesson 5

  • Throw over longer distances using shoulder pass
  • Recognise which throw is needed over shorter & longer distances
  • Use shoulder pass in a game to build attacking play

Year 3 Rounders Lesson 1

  • Be ready to field a ball using the correct body position
  • To develop striking, running and fielding skills in a game

Year 5 Athletics Lesson 6

  • Work in small groups to design a running, jumping or throwing event.

Year 5 Dodgeball Lesson 3

  • To develop smaller dodges, such as upper and lower body weaves and leg lifts.
  • To remember and use previous dodging skills, such as ducking and jumping.
  • Explain when and why the weave and leg lift are used.

  • Use a run up and hurdle step to vault onto the box top
